When BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB released their self-titled debut in 2001, they immediately made their mark on the music scene.

The self-produced album was praised throughout as the solid, coherent output of a tight band.

The American rock band was influenced by THE BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE, LED ZEPPELIN, THE VERVE, THE VELVET UNDERGROUND and THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN.

From the album opener "Love Burns" to the brilliant space pop of "Too Real" to "Spread Your Love", which was used in the film "A Man Apart" and in the TV series "Skins", "Black Rebel Motorcycle Club" is an extremely impressive debut.

This reissue of the album contains four bonus tracks that did not appear on the original version.
